The idea
Grounded in place. Open to the everyday.
Terra Courts is a residential address shaped around a courtyard. It considers the space between individual homes and a shared outdoor setting, with a grounded architectural language.
The design direction explores how a sequence of thresholds can create a gentle transition from the city to home. Warmth, proportion and the spaces between buildings guide the study.
A shared centre
The courtyard as an organising idea for a connected residential setting.
Layered thresholds
A gradual sequence between shared space and the privacy of home.
Warmth and texture
A grounded material direction, studied through tone and surface.
